This Privacy Policy explains how BuildPod collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information across BuildPod websites, apps, services, support, and communications.

This policy applies to BuildPod websites, applications, platform services, support activities, transactional communications, account administration, and related interactions.

Where required, BuildPod relies on appropriate legal bases or business purposes such as performance of contract, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligation, security, fraud prevention, service administration, or customer-directed processing.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers/processors, hosting and database providers, payment providers, email and communications providers, AI providers when configured or used, legal/compliance/safety recipients, business transfer participants, customer-directed recipients, and authorized users within the customer organization according to roles and permissions.

BuildPod uses service providers and processors to perform work on BuildPod’s behalf and, for customer business data, generally processes information according to the customer relationship and applicable agreement. BuildPod does not sell personal information as the term is commonly used in state privacy laws.

5. Customer Business Data

Organization customers control customer business data. BuildPod processes that data to provide, secure, support, maintain, troubleshoot, improve, and administer the service. Individual users may need to contact their organization for some requests involving customer-controlled data.

6. Privacy Rights

Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. Depending on your location and relationship to BuildPod, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or opt out of certain processing. BuildPod will respond as required by applicable law.

Certain U.S. state privacy laws may provide additional rights. The available rights and request process may depend on whether BuildPod acts as a controller/business or service provider/processor for the relevant information.

Requests may require identity verification. Some records may be retained for legal, security, backup, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.

7. Data Retention

Information is retained as needed for service, account, legal, security, backup, dispute, and business purposes. Backups may retain data for a limited time before rotation. More detail is available in Data & Processing.

8. Security

BuildPod uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet or cloud system is perfectly secure. Users must protect credentials, and customer admins must manage access appropriately.

9. International Processing

Data may be processed in the United States and other locations where BuildPod or its providers operate.

10. Children

The service is not intended for children under 13 or the applicable minimum age for digital consent.

11. AI / ATLAS Processing

AI interactions may be processed to provide responses, apply safety controls, create audit logs, and improve service. AI provider processing may depend on configured provider and customer settings.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated when practical.
